The City of Meadville has been a pioneer when it comes to reinforcing their roadways and they continued this year with the addition, yet again, of FORTA-FI®. With the added strength and durability that FORTAfied® asphalt provides, Meadville has seen a dramatic increase in the life-expectancy of even their very highest traffic roadways. This year’s streets included South Main from Arch to Linden where a 1 ½” HMA 9.5mm wearing course was placed by preferred producer Russell Standard.
