Project Description
FORTA-FI was used to reinforce the surface course of this street overlay project that was over 2200m long. The project, located in Bautou, a city in the inner Mongolia province of China, used a fiber equivalent to 1.0 lb/ton of asphalt. The FORTA-FI reinforced cross-section was 60 mm thick, and the street was 17m wide. The ¾” (19mm) fiber length offered easy mixing and excellent distribution.
