PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. was formed based on government regulation No. 04 in 1978 because of the state capital participation of the Republic of Indonesia. This state-owned establishment regulates the fields of management, maintenance, and provision of all toll road networks. Besides functioning as an operator, Jasa Marga is the only Indonesian’s toll road authority. Through 9 branches and 11 subsidiaries, the company is the concession holder of 22 toll road sections with more to come. 73% of Indonesia’s total length of toll roads are dominated by Jasa Marga.
