Turnpike Toll-Booth

Project Description:
In late 1988 FORTA AR® was specified and utilized to minimize deformation of the surface-course of a heavily trafficked toll-booth area for the Massachusetts Turnpike Commission. The three-dimensional fiber reinforcement was used in over 500 tons of Massachusetts Type F High Stability Bituminous Concrete, at a dosage of 1.0 lb. per ton. The project was located at Toll-Booth #11A, between mile 0 and mile 4 in West Stockbridge, MA.
