Sales Representatives

FORTA Corporation is seeking Territory Sales Representatives. Previous experience in the asphalt industry, educating engineers and architects, and working in the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans is preferred.

Building on its history of developing, testing, and producing fiber reinforcement for proven applications in Portland and asphaltic cements, FORTA Corporation has engineered FORTA-FI®, specially formulated to reinforce Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA), and Hot/Cold Patch (PAT). Tested and proven, the fibers offer dramatic cost savings.

Job Duties: Initiates and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new markets. Conduct product demonstrations, group lunch and learn seminars, and one on one sales presentations. Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing for all price quotation requests while maintaining maximum profitability. Closes sales by overcoming objections, requesting new account application, forwarding orders, and following up on orders places. Consistently enter all account and project related communication activity into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software program. Attend trade shows to help Identify and qualify new leads. Service existing accounts and project opportunities by visiting account or job site to offer consultation related to products. Generate new business leads. Obtain state DOT approvals.

Regional Sales Manager – Southeast Region

FORTA Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager for our Asphalt Division in the Southeastern United States (North/South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida and Alabama). We are seeking a professional individual with experience in pavement engineering, management and design in aviation, highway/bridge, rail and port transportation markets.

Job Duties: Develop new business by identifying and qualifying potential accounts and/or project opportunities. Pavement management experience (may include roadways, airfield, and facilities for public or private clients). Pavement design for roadways in accordance with AASHTO, FHWA and Department of Defense design standards. Airfield pavement design in accordance with FAA and Department of Defense standards. Heavy-duty pavement design (Ports, intermodal facilities). Development of plans, specifications and cost estimates for pavement design projects. Identify potential accounts by developing leads, and analyzing and qualifying project opportunities. Conduct product demonstrations – Lunch & Learns seminars. Attend Trade Shows. Service existing accounts and project opportunities by visiting account/job site.

Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering • 2+ years of experience
